Does anyone know the full frequencies for RAF kinloss that do search and rescue?

I know they have hf 5680 primary but dont they have a set of assigned uhf and vhf frequencies like most other raf bases and what frequencies do the helicopters use?

Yep all the above HF frequencies are valid. 5680 kHz is the primary common HF frequency during the day with 4718 kHz secondary, 3023 kHz, 3226 kHz, 3026 kHz and 3218 kHz are common night frequencies. On HF they will switch often due to conditions but 5680 is the main HF one to monitor.

They also have the following UHF & VHF frequencies...

VHF
RAF KINLOSS PAR - 118.3500 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS APPROACH - 118.9500 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS TOWER - 122.1000 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS DIRECTOR - 123.3000 MHz (AM)

UHF
RAF KINLOSS TOWER - 235.0250 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS PAR - 240.4750 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS DIRECTOR - 258.7000 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS OPERATIONS - 278.9750 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS PAR - 279.1500 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS OPERATIONS - 369.3250 MHz (AM)
RAF KINLOSS ATIS INFO - 389.4000 MHz (AM)

"0169, 177 and kinloss" heard a lot

"This is Kinloss Rescue.. thankyou sir, Merry Christmas" heard said about 10 minutes ago its been quiet since

I think they are on routine christmas patrol? I am getting both sides but one is much clearer and getting far better results from the live link you posted than my own hf receiver (antenna for hf needs sorting) I havent had much luck before thank you. Does anyone know how far the receiving station is from kinloss?

Edit this just came through "ribby 177 this is kinloss rescue requesting...." "unaudible" "ribby 177 this is kinloss rescue roger, out"

I think I got the ribby 177 wrong it was just how it sounded.

IT was probably Rescue 177 you heard, which covers Northern England. Rescue 169 covers the Southwestern part of the UK I believe.Rescue 125 & 126 are based at Wattisham in Suffolk and cover the East Coast.
