What are you struggling with?

The most common problem is not hearing anything (or getting the "all channels locked out" message) when pressing Scan for the first time - it's an easily solved problem, you can only scan frequencies that have been stored in the memory. By adding some channels you'll find that scan works and you start receiving signals.

A very useful tool is Scan125, it's free and lets you control the 125XLT scanner and input frequencies by PC using the USB cable. You can download it from http://www.nick-bailey.co.uk/scan125/

There are multiple recent threads on this scanner, it's worth reading through them..

Hi, I am near Dereham if that helps. I have the same scanner and have fantastic results.

Scanner apps for mac are conspicuous by their absence.
I did find one that worked to some degree, but then Apple upgraded OSX and it stopped working.

You could try one of the programs that runs Windows (or elements of it) on the mac
I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.
