The Daventry sector frequencies may be a good starting place they are :-

127.100
127.875
129.200
134.3916
The first three frequencies can be tuned on a scanner with 25Khz steps( in theory if you want to monitor high altitude airways ,you will need a scanner with 8.33Khz steps but with the 7100 you should be able to use the 5khz step to get close enough )
note these are the actual frequencies to which your scanner should be tuned to and should not be confused with the channels as designated by ATC( eg 134.390 which is the channel designator for 134.3916 or 127.880 which is 127.875 ).

Also try:

London:
126.7833 ("126.780") Upper {NE England}
133.7 ("133.705') Upper {East Mids}

Scottish:
118.775 ("118.780")
119.525
134.425 Daventry sector (Northbound from Birmingham/East Mids)
I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

And don't forget the free air radar sites such as Flight Radar 24 which allows you to see at least some of what is about.
