East Midlands Airport

Just a heads up that East Midlands approach seems to have changed recently from 134.175 to 126.175. wasn't too long ago that the ATIS frequency changed from 128.225 to the current frequency: 122.675. Tower and ground seem to remain unchanged on 124.0 and 121.9 respectively.

They are still using 134.175 too, though in what circumstances each is used is not yet clear.
Can't find any NOTAM about 126.175, which was previously unused in the UK AFAIK.
I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

Very confused!

NATS is showing 134.575 for EM Approach even though I have always had 134.175 listed? No mention of 126.175. I think NATS are no longer reliable however as they took a while to update LBA, in fact I think it was about a month after this post from thelad at viewtopic.php?f=10&t=5189 who was quick on the ball.

NATS have finally updated what thelad told us a month earlier about the LBA change.

My list for East Mids which I believe to be accurate (though may now be wrong) which is

EAST MIDLANDS AIRPORT (EGNX)

East Midlands Airport Approach 134.175 MHz (AM)
East Midlands Airport Tower 124.000 MHz (AM)
East Midlands Airport Ground 121.900 MHz (AM)
East Midlands Airport Radar 134.175 MHz (AM)
East Midlands Airport Radar 120.125 MHz (AM)
East Midlands Airport Radar 124.000 MHz (AM)
East Midlands Airport ATIS 128.225 MHz (AM)

Would anyone be kind enough to update and correct me as NATS no longer appears to be up to date, which is worrying as I understand it is a guide for pilots?

For what it's worth - in the past week or so here in rural Lincs I have activity on 126.175 but hear nothing now on 134.175.
Definitely still 134.175 that is listed in the latest NATS frequency chart (December 2016 edition).
Company frequencies - there is also DHL on 131.625 . . .

I am at work today (at EMA) and 134.175 is definitely being used as RADAR will monitor 126.175 as well and see if that is in use..

126.175 is in use,in fact I haven't heard 134.175 since this apparent frequency change.

Hi Nighthawk et al
I can confirm both frequencies in use today, both being called up as RADAR, the NATS website and the NAVTECH charts don't have 126.175 - but they also don't have the new ATIS frequency either so I guess these things take time..
