NAST list all UK airports of a fair size, with frequencies:
http://www.nats-uk.ead-it.com/public/in ... id=13.html

The higher anything is, the further away it can be heard.
Occasionally you may hear Tower frequencies called from outside the official area, because aircraft want some info such as weather but there's no ATIS.

Handling freqs can also be heard far away (even for France, Netherlands, etc):
122.05 129.75 130.075 130.175, 130.375, 130.6 130.625 130.65 136.825
All of 131.4 to 131.9916 {they are all 8.33 kHz spacing - so you'll get 2 or 3 channels per frequency on most scanners}

130.6 AM Swissport Liverpool
130.65 AM Signature Manchester EGCC (May be defunct)
131.4 AMn 131.405 Menzies Manchester Ops EGCC
131.4333 AMn 131.435 Swissport Manchester EGCC
131.625 AM 131.630 EGCC Manchester Premier Handling

Passenger handling, like ensuring people in wheelchairs are catered for, and other passenger issues they want to airport to prepare for before they land.

Swissport is such a handling company.
They show their frequencies on their website:
e.g. Cardiff
