Chinooks over dorset

Hi guys , living in Weymouth Dorset, I have heard a lot of recent activity over the old Portland naval base , mainly chinooks , and smaller helicopters, I think it is being used for some sort of training base now, any of you guys know any likely frequencies they may be using , thanks .

Try VHF Low (29.7 to 54 ish) but as they have very limited range (being low flying by definition) they are not easy to find.
About a thousand channels to search.
I've seen all these reported over the years:
36.35
38.1
40.025
41.1
42.85 Dutch
43.35000
48.95 Dutch
51.4
but I've only ever heard one (51.4) and that was eight year ago!
