Welcome Brew_dog, have a look below this post at my signature. There you will see a link for Kimmy's database, which is not only the best available, but also one of the cheapest available & it is far more up to date than most others.
http://ukscanningdirectory.co.uk/

The other link is for a google search of this site. The sites own standard search facility is terrible so Kimmy set up a google search for us & it makes finding what you want easier.

I am not saying there is anything wrong at all with the login of Brew_Dog, but whats wrong with Innes_Gunn??  I love Innes & Gunn & often treat myself to a bottle or three from my local B & M store about a 5 minute walk away.

UHF means Ultra High Frequency & ranges for 300 to 3000 MHz. DMR is simply a form of transmitting a signal, like AM, FM, SSB etc. DMR can be used on UHF or any where else.
If you have a DMR capable scanner then it should cover both VHF & UHF. Only DMR transceivers cover a small part of VHF &/or UHF.
