Hi is there a national dmr channel or that to check if my decoder working
Im in west lothian so cant seen to get a radio to test

WTR = worst thing and Rotten. Nobody can get to grips with it because it's flaky, unreliable and inaccurate, but if you use the map and use a very small area at a time you get some clues, but that's all they are.

What kind of aerial system do you have, looking at the County it's a bit sparse and there are geographical problems. Outside antenna, high up, decent feeder? What can you hear in analogue, distance wise?

In other news, it's been a God send too. I lot of my finds on here have been confirmed thanks to it, especially when I'm in Cheshire where I can hear from Liverpool to Manchester.

Hi
Got a uniden 125xlt with digital tap connected to my laptop
Just purchased an outside antenna and have some low los coax for it
Also have a desktop/mobile skyscan antenna for use at my caravan in ayrshire
Im gonna give some of the ayrshire dmr stuff when down next week thanks to andrew

All I have is still relevant, shop watches, etc. I found a golf one today, 455.6125, on DMR. There is the Scottish Tournament next weekend at Dundonald Links, that might be what I'm hearing from. I've been hearing stuff on that for a week or two, just trying to identify where it's coming from. Ayrshire has golf link courses from Irvine to Troon.
