Frequencies Required.

Postby alunonhisown » Wed Mar 16, 2016 2:29 pm

Has anyone frequencies for the Tower and approach at CWL (Cardiff) Also any other frequencies that may be of interest to me for the airport.
I am going down there again tomorrow and would like to see what I can pick up.
I went there this morning to get some pics of GV.IIO inbound from Victorville after a fresh coat of paint. This is the plane that caught fire in Las Vegas last september. I was on GV.IIO a couple of weeks before flying into Orlando.
I got a few pics but no idea how to share them on here.
So if anyone has any freq's please do feel free to send them to me here or via email alunjones@outlook.com
TIA
AOHO
P.S. If anyone knows of any frequencies in Merthyr that would be great also. I have Tesco, WAG, Porters PCH, but sadly, not a lot else.

Cheers for that m0lsx. Appreciated. I believe there is a frequency that I can use to listen to flights over Wales, it may be broadcast from West Drayton or somewhere else, not sure, any ideas?

NATS publish official data for all UK airports

I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

I am not sure what the high level control frequency is for Wales..But the following Mil Air may still be active, or relevant.
280.350 - London Military ATC for Wales
276.725 - OTA-G Welsh MTA
251.375 and 125.850 for Cardiff Radar (Bristol Channel low level.)

Looking around I have found..but cannot confirm as accurate..

Bristol Sectr VHF

132.800....Not listed here
129.375 Strumble ....Listed here as London Control.
133.600 Brecon...Not listed here.
