Hi all

I've just returned to the hobby after a few years break.

I've bought myself an ICOM ic-r6 and I'm wondering wether there's anything in my area worth listing to?

So far I've not heard much out there compared to the good old days of pre tetra etc.

Any advice on frequencies, antenna upgrades and any other general advice on getting the best out of this radio would be great.

I wish I could help. I visit just over the border in Cheshire and would like a few Wrexham / Rhyl / Prestatyn frequencies. I visit a location high above the Mersey and probably hear Welsh based stuff, but just don't realise it is. I get swamped with things from Manchester to Merseyside and down to the Midlands.
