Hi, Does the fact there aren't many locations on the list mean that other towns share one of them Freq's? if used at all? Cheers.

can anybody tell me if Cardiff have now gone "digital" or they still using analogue and if so what freq ? ive tried a few of the ones listed but nothing....and when i been in town ive noticed alot of the shops now carry the "sepura" radio? which would tell me they are now tetra? any thoughts? or can somebody confirm a freq? thank you :)

They are DMR not TETRA, which is good as DMR can be tuned in on fairly easy compared to TETRA.
Sepura specialise in both TETRA and DMR radios :walkietalkie:

Cardiff are indeed proper tetra for their shopwatch.

One of only 2 I know in the entire country (the other being the centre:mk)

The stadium is also tetra, installed by the same company.

Don't forget, Cardiff was one of the first to go 'digital', before mototrbo and icom idas etc came onto the market, so it was the only choice.

Central cardiff Storenet is indeed TETRA as the previous poster correctly stated.

Others include :

Milton Keynes (as mentioned)
Cabot Circus (Bristol)

it is a non TEA2 TMO system, (422.450??) so you will need either osmocon or a Willtek to demodulate

I heard traffic from the stadium last weekend - still analogue

regards
