The 7700 is a better RX that the Realistic.

I do like the frg im just in the process of moveing my shack from the back room upstairs im out in the middle of nowere so the winds extreamly bad so every ariels going in the attic im in and out of hospital alot so its gonna be intreasting moveing it all lol

Sorry to hear about the hospital.
You can lay the wire over the roof, or even around the guttering if it's not black plastic or some old Cast Iron. You could also base feed a vertical wire against an earth Stake up the guttering down pipe or even the Stench pipe for the drains if you have one.
Although height counts on VHF & UHF, it's not really important on HF.
Also have a listen to the University of Twente SDR, that uses a tine one meter long whip. Looooooooooooooooooong wires are not always the best options.
