Help with developing Newlog logging program

Postby leviticus49 » Tue Apr 12, 2016 10:45 am

Although not new, this little program is excellent for all breeds of radio listener. Separate opening screens for Amateur, SWL, Broadcast etc. all fully adaptable as to layout, renaming boxes etc. The developer gives full permission to alter and further develop it. I fear that the developer, Tom Lackamp AB9B has passed away (hope I'm wrong) so cannot contact him. To make this program perfect, can anyone tell me how to set up drop boxes in the various set boxes. I have no idea how to do this myself so would appreciate any help Please!

Since 2012 AB9B has been issued to Robert Sims. So yes it looks like Tom Lackamp may well be SK, either that or he has simply relinquished the call.

Unless you have the source code then you will not be able to modify the program. I've looked for the source and any comments/statements by the author that "The developer gives full permission to alter and further develop it." but have not found any. Without both then I'm afraid it is a dead end.
