If he is unstable, then it becomes a real problem - because nowadays nobody wants to ban a disabled person from doing things - but there seems a case to do it if he is spoiling the hobby for everyone. Would OFCOM restrict or remove his license? I doubt it somehow unless he starts to do it without being set off by somebody else.

Clearly his behaviour is unacceptable - but it needs courage to tackle it. Maybe the job for the chairman of the local ham radio club, or even the repeater keeper - who is of course responsible for the material they have 'published' via their system. Tough job to solve.

Yip, it's him. I read this originally off my phone, just listened to it now. I didn't hear him last week when I was down there, but I have heard him on several other visits. I wasn't sure where he was exactly. I've heard him jumping into other peoples conversations to give them a ticking off.

It's probably best to ignore this guy. If he's getting wound up by idiots, then that makes it even worse...

It's been talked about on several forums, and the guy has a known problem, and people seem to take time and effort to deliberately bait him, knowing what to do or what to say to get him to pop. Frankly I think that to behave like this - to deliberately set him off is despicable. It isn't funny, it's not bright. Sure - he shouldn't say what he does, but there is no law preventing somebody with Tourettes, for example, having a license. Invariably, the clips available on line neatly ignore the winding up that took place before.

If somebody had a broken leg, would you repeatedly bend it until they eventually sobbed? This is baiting. Most of the locals just talk normally from what I have been told, but others react and prod him into going overboard. Instead of people plastering him over youtube, perhaps they should consider the definition of bullying, because that's what they are!
