The Uniden Bearcat BCT15X Scanner, scanning through various bands and users in The UK including Taxis, Airband, PMR446, UK Simple Light Frequencies, Manchester Airport, Fire, Safety Testing, Security and Quarries. Including VHF & UHF Frequencies, Conventional and MPT-1327 Trunked systems.

UK Trunked systems are MPT-1327 and not covered by the USA Trunk features in this scanner so UK Trunked Systems are programmed in as conventional systems.

There are no scanners that handle MPT1327 trunked systems. Though I've heard there are some software programs if you have an SDR, or discriminator tap.
You'll have to input each frequency of the system and scan the lot — except the control channel of course, because listening to 101010100101010100101010100101011010101010101011010101010100100010101010010101101101001011100101001101010101000101010101110111011010101010101 gets tedious afer 0.1 seconds

Are they actually trunked? Usually a taxi firm will have two frequencies, one for mobile and one for base, you just program both in a "conventional system".
