Found this chap in the 27mhz band...

Whilst trying to find some CB'ers I found this chap in Italy i believe.

As I'm still learning, what band is this likely to be (as in, its below the UK CB frequencies)

Its on 27.4635, using SDR App on samsung S4, Sky Scan Mag Antenna in loft. (very simple setup) I assume he is pushing out some power.

Probably '11 meter band' stuff, ie freebanding.

Aye probably a pirate the main calling 11m Pirate frequency is 27.5550

Cept ends at 27.4050 and cb starts at 27.60125 with no ham allocation AFAIK so must be a pirate

Probably running 4kw, the Italians like power.
Surprised he want calling for coca cola. :biggrin:

It looks like the 11 meter SSB Band that I go on , The calling channel is 27.555 SSB . :mrgreeny:
