I recently built a new gadget from scratch, based on a circuit from a power amplifier. This is an interface between a transceiver without a ptt to ground output, enabling it to be used with an amplifier fitted with a ptt to ground keying circuit.

I forgot to add that the front view, the switch on the left in the power one and the switch on the right is the SSB switch which introduces a delay in the relay unkeying.

On the back of the unit, the left hand SO239 socket is the input from the transceiver and the right hand one is the output going to the amplifier. The small red socket between them in a phono (RCA) socket to connect to the amplifier to provide ptt to ground keying.

Nice linear, that should run 400 watts all day even on a heavy duty cycle.
My shack is in the bedroom, inside a cupboard, on top of a set of draws. Then as the wife works a lot of night duties, I often don't get the chance to use it.
