UK Scanning Forum Search Engine

Postby M3TSY » Sun Feb 17, 2013 4:18 pm

I've had a few messages about the search function for the forum not being much use and I agree, I have tried to make it more flexible but even for words like Stockport and Derby it will refuse to give results as there are too many.

For now I've created a Google Search Engine you can use for the results our normal search function will not bring back, you can use it at the link below:

It's not possible to do that, they didn't at first but for a long time now Ofcom have blocked bot access to WTR licences which is the proper thing for them to do as people searching for their telephone number shouldn't be getting their operating frequencies up in the search results too, as a result no Google custom search engine can search the WTR it has to be done through their own search system.

Just to move this up into new posts. As some newer forum members may not know about this..
Buy a database from Kimmy JS19 via http://ukscanningdirectory.co.uk/
Or do Google search of this forum via https://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=partner-pub-6291336405621919:2662881632
