HELP! I've bought a second hand aor ar 8000, many years ago I had a yupiteru 7100 and thought I'd easily be able to use the ar8000 WRONG! the instruction book is as clear as mud :shocker: and I,m struggling! please can anyone give me some hints how to get started I've looked on youtube without success and googling only brings up the instuction book that I've got now...
If this is written in the wrong forum .... my excuses..will wait with baited breath... thankyou

I did watch a short demo on basic starting of the AOR8200 on Youtube a couple of months ago. I may still be there?
Good luck

don 't want to worry you on this , I bought brand new 8000 a while back frm Martyn lynch , and got well ripped off ! ... it simply did not work correctly , ofcourse , rip off lynch & his so called tech man said it all my fault ... I have had an AOR for years and years and thought I would get the later 8000 , well for get it .... hard to use ? you can say that again ... but the thing just did not work on many frequencies that I use ! .... I lost £60 and had to have a right fight with the lynch mob and threaten court action ! .... ... in the end I managed to get my trusty 3000 fixed and its still working , easy to use - best of luck with the 8000 - but stear clear of martyn lynch and co. if you want any thing ... kris ...
