Greetings and Salutations, I live within 600 metres of RAF Lakenheath and have an AOR 8200 MK3, I didn't realise What an utter pig this beast would be until I started trying to programme it. My previous scanners where a Fairmate and then an Alincon djx2000 which I b* ggered up trying to reset. Looking forward to having a good poke round the board :mrgreeny: .

Regards Nick.

Hi everyone. My name is Johan and I am from Scheveningen (The Hague) in The Netherlands. Since 1979 listening to all I can receive and got my own online database. Family of mine is living in Oban Scotland so also interested in frequencies around Argyll and Bute.

Hello Johan. Some great listening your side of the water. I use to listen to the X band (1600 to 1700 khz) broadcasters most Friday & Saturday nights.

Hello

Just got myself a Lowe HF225 for HF airband listening.
Put a long wire up but not getting great results so might try a dipole
Other radios I own are
Signal R-535
Yupiteru 7100
TSC-100RA
Plus a very old Swinburne DR600

Cheers
Neil
