Two suggestions.
1..How about a section for discussing & reviewing specific scanner models we own in??? It would be a good first point of reference for anyone looking at a new scanner.
A sticky thread at the top of the section could make the point that not everything sold as a scanner is a receiver only thus helping to avoid any confusion for new comers to the hobby between transceivers that scan & which are sometimes sold on ebay etc as scanners & receivers that scan. It may help a newcomer make an informed choice without inadvertently breaching any rules or accidentally transmitting where they should not.
Suggestion 2. Would it be a good idea to make this a sticky so that it does not go down the page??

I've done the mod Kim, the only thing is it works for all new links posted, to make it work on older posts with older links posted just edit the post, make no changes and then save and it will apply the new link behaviour. All new links posted will open in a new window from now on
