I'll not go as far as saying earthing a scanner is never needed. But it's not for most of us.
The problem with a forum is that people read an answer to a question & can assume it relates to them too. And with earthing it is always worth posting the caution as a result, as even if it's not relevant to that question. It is something we all need to be aware of.

+1 (more than a year later..)

Tapatalk makes it very easy to follow forums and passively get notifications of new replies/posts, rather than having to actively come back and deliberately look for (only the possibility of) new content.

To make the search engine user friendly (or at least ensure that it works).

If you look at my signature you will see a Google search for this site that was set up to get around the terrible search facility that comes with the site.
I believe it was Kimmy who set it up.

Thanks. Yes I have seen and used this facility, but found that when running a search, everything contained within the return is out of date. This is as it pertains to my search for frequencies anyway.

So YOU have up to date data...perhaps everyone else with up to date info keeps that to themselves as well.

Not sure how you've come to that conclusion? I have NO data. When searching the site the few results I get were posted years ago. Years ago means they are out of date, right?
