Interception of telegraph messages falls under Interception of Communications Act 1985 "public telecommunications system"
The penalty is a crown offence with a sentence of two years imprisonment.
There is no need to act upon information as it falls under the public telecommunications system remit.

Anyone who finds this "funny" well laugh away.
