You upload your photo's to an online hosting site & then post the link to here. You may need to highlight the link & click the Img button above if an [Img] is not before & after the link.
Some sites add the [Img] some don't.

That does not sound very robust. Take your antenna & the pole & try to hold it above your head with your hands no further than 12 inches apart. Now imagine doing it in a breeze & then a gale.

I have been and bought another 12x12 ins stand off one, to be frank and honest they look more sturdy than ones you have in your photo, have you any idea what would a satisfactory height above the ridge,I live in a bungalow with no high buildings other than a row of terraced houses on a slight bank to my right ,on the left side its a clear way all the way to Birmingham, and cannot see any problems to the North of me to the East Midlands Airport (approx 14 miles)

If these brackets get any length pole clear of the gutters, then 6m is usually the longest practical one with 50mm tube. Fixings suitable for the brickwork and sensible spacing between the brackets should give you adequate exposure above the ridge. 50mm tube comes in thin and medium thickness wall, and with the stiffer tube I've had quite a large wind surface over the years with no grief. Although there are now loads of clever fixings nowadays, I've always used rawlbolts.
