Lowestoft District & Pye Amateur Radio Club Lowestoft District & Pye Amateur Radio Club have been shortlisted by Skipton Building Society for a grassroots award. I am not, nor have I ever been a member, but they are local to me & having chatted to more than a few members down the years, I thought I would spread the word. They need your vote please.
All it takes is a minute of your time & your email address..

Thanks for that Alan, although I've not been a member for years that's where I started all this in 1979! Back then practically all the members worked for the Pye TV factory, and the club was in their grounds. When the factory shut up, they kept the Pye name as the company paid for quite a bit of the kit. Back then it was a big shed, and now it's a much bigger portacabin style place and the club are still quite popular - not bad really for nearly 40 years! I'm glad they might be able to get some extra dosh - and have happily voted for them!
