Nagoya NA-666 SMA F "Gasket" ??

Postby thebigtyreman » Mon Feb 26, 2018 6:20 pm

Hi there,

I purchased a Nagoya NA-666 SMA F antenna for the BV-5R but when connected it has
a huge gap at the base and since found out the earlier models needed a rubber gasket
O ring to seal the gap.

now the mission dollar question where can i purchase a "rubber gasket O ring"
from ?

Regards

Paul

having googled the NA666 the images found show the rubber o ring is just a simple 2mm thick rubber washer with an inside diameter hole just large enough to allow the SMA female thread to pass through and an outside diameter which matches the base of the antenna ie about 1cm most hardware stores should be able to supply a suitable washer either of rubber or polythene . there are also many hardware shops that sell boxes of O rings in a selection of sizes
