This update is very good!! I don't think dmrdecode will be used as much again, even though this is still a good, useful tool!
I've got the LRRP, GPS side now running very well and decoding my first found GPS Trbo system :walkietalkie:

Keep up the good work DSD

Is the "zip" file for oldy worldy nostalgia purposes ?
Rather odd in 2014 that you have to start hunting down very ancient software to open a Zip file.

I was just wondering if anyone has had any luck running DSD+ on Ubuntu Linux.
I used to use it on Windows before and update crashed my system and I then moved over to Ubuntu.
I have a Realistic Pro-2006 which I'll happily add a discriminator tap to if anyone has had decent results.

DSD+ (now at 1.74) runs ok with Mint 17.2 (a Ubuntu variant) using Wine, so Ubuntu itself should be ok.

I use it in combination with Gqrx-sdr and a USB dongle, whilst Jack provides the virtual audio cable. It's a bit tricky to set up initially, but it does work very well.

Thanks for the reply.
I think I'll give it a go. I have Jack running already so figuring out the routing should be relatively easy (famous last words).
Great to know it can be done. At least I won't be banging my head against a brick wall next weekend.
