Tyt md380 drivers

I connected my new tyt md380 radio to my computer pressing the buttons down like you should but my computer says it hasn't got the drivers and I can't see into the radios code plug settings ,do I have to load the disc that came with the cable too load the drivers or were am I going wrong ,the computer sees the digatal radio in the control panel but has the yellow warning sign for no drivers ?

You need the driver for the programming cable Stan. Once that is installed, you should be fine.If it's on the disc, just install it. If it's windows 10, you will probably have to do this each time, because it has a nasty habit of putting back it's own driver each time you plug in the cable!

G4rmt do I just install the disc before I plug the radio in ,only I had lots of trouble because I installed the drivers that came with the troops ,dongle and had to get them all removed with team viewer of a friend because they was not to be used ? If so I will go ahead just checking so I didn't make a mistake ,thanks g4rmt appreciate the help

They sent me two seperate cables by accident as well if any one needs one let me know before they pay for one :smiles:

By the way it's not troops dongle I meant Rtl it's that spelling thing on this I pad it's a nuisance :sad:

I'd guess the driver on the disc they sent will say prolific or something similar - and that's the one you need to install. My one was a simple exe file that the computer ran and installed. Just be prepared for some faffing around. If it works, I suggest you copy that .exe file to your desktop where it will be safe and sound ready to be installed again.

I loaded the drivers it was easy like you said when you look at the programme it asks for the current radio I'd were do you get that ? :huh: some one says d- Marc or something is that correct ,I don't know

I got some help of someone I think is was the drivers not loaded properly thanks for the help just need some good frequencies and that to load in ,thanks
