I guess the Tetra will be the same that the AOR DV1 does now which is unencrypted DMO. Have not found any Tetra DMO yet but still trying....

It would be nice if they did another update for the DV-1 they have not had one since feb and mark5r i am in the city of london and not once had any tetra dmo decode tho i have seen it on a youtube video.

the whistler scanners have a better audio and dmr decode so my grand for the DV-1 feels like a waste of money as its pretty crappy

I've never come across any DMO TETRA either. I suspect than in urban areas, the coverage by TMO sites is so good that DMO is simply not needed.
Airwave say "we provide coverage on 100% of the roads in Great Britain, and to 99% of the geographical landmass."
Only in rural areas, where coverage is limited by terrain, does DMO become necessary.
So you'd need to live somewhere slightly of the beaten track to catch anything, up a farm track in a valley in the back of beyond for example…

The only way I could test the Tetra DMO mode was to borrow a radio, it works, but not on Search..

Something I wrote on a Whistler forum a couple of weeks ago

" I don't think the new AOR will take over the world smile emoticon :) If it is like the AOR AR-DV1, it is designed as a digital receiver and not a scanner, it is unable to trunk track (or as ML&S say truck track!) or to display and filter DMR talkgroups... The DV1 tends to attract customers who cannot get on with the programming of the TRX1 and 3600 and can afford to go to the DV1 as you can simply twiddle the tune knob and receive a range of digital signals.. Yes I do have a DV1.."
