President Lincoln Mod

Postby FatSam » Sat Jan 16, 2016 11:25 am

Hi Guys, I have a President Lincoln 1 factory standard, 28 -29.925 mhz. I want to mod it so it covers 26-29mhz. Is it as simple as a jumper wire between pins 34 & 35 on IC315 or do I need anything else to add? Also will this automatically change the digital readout to suit?
Thanks, Mark.

As far as I know its just a matter of cutting a jumper although Iam not sure which one, so either check youtube or google it. if you do it yourself you will void the guarantee if you bought new, in which case it needs to be done by the retailer or whoever you purchased it from, but they do charge about £25 for doing it now. Yes the digital readout will adjust accordingly.

Thanks for that. It's not new, it was left to me by an old HAM who passed away.
