I have just created a third profile on the new portal & this time it worked. If others are having to do this, then the new portal is not going to be very reliable, as I now have three profiles on this new portal, all identical except for the email address.
I had phoned up earlier in the week & they said they would move my account to one of the accounts I set up last weekend. But have failed to do so, so now I have a third.

I figured this was just for amateur and marine radio. Didn't realise that it was also business radio - as I have a couple of those licenses plus PMSE license too? Maybe this is what causes mine to fail?

The new system that's causing issues is ONLY the amateur one - PMSE, business light, suppliers light and technically assigned license are NOT meant to be collated together. They are going to do that once the system works for amateurs and marine users. So the only info that should be linked are amateur/ship licenses. It will be some time before the others are linked in the database. At the moment the business licenses are on separate systems.

As to my problem, I have to wait 30 mins then call them back to report if I get what I should via email.

They tried swapping my email address - no good, she then swapped it for her own email address and that failed too. So it's now a case of waiting.

I guess Ofcom are just the latest victim of a government department having their system updated to a system that is over priced & unsuitable for what it is going to be asked to do.
My wife is a Nurse & if their system fails of an evening, then they have to forget about getting it sorted until the morning as IT only works office hours. Thats right. They have no out of office hours IT support at all & this for a 24/7 service!!!!
Computer systems are how they have to do all of their reports & how a lot of their sought after patient (care specific,) information is gained too.
But if something goes wrong on a Friday evening, then they have to forget being able to access anything until Monday morning & thats if it's not a Bank Holiday.
And if you are working nights & something goes wrong with your login, then it's stay awake on days until office hours begins & the IT support starts. Or not be able to do your job properly for many shifts at a time. And no someone else cannot report your login issues & get IT to fix them while you sleep!
Apparently you can spend hours putting a new patients details into the system & then the system refuses to accept it. It cannot be done bit at a time & saved as a partly completed file. It all has to go in as one document. So if the document does not save as it should. Retype the whole thing again.
I would imagine the poor sods at Ofcom are in a similar situation.

Just trying to notify a change of address.
Web site not accepting login details as confirmed by them in 2014.

Thats because they have a new system & the old one is no more. You now need to re-register using the same email address on the new system.
