Il have my yaesu ft-450d, this week, but I have only a nomad antenna, which I've noticed receives from 25 - 1500mhz.
The yaesu is HF and 6m, rig, I'm in a condo, middle flat, and have my nomad in the loft, 10m rg58 feeding it
I also have a moonraker whizz whip and an mfj1022, indoor active antenna, will any of these be suitable for receiving All bands bands.
Was wondering if I could get better reception from fitting a new antenna in the loft and feeding it will either rg213, or 450ohm ladder line,,maybe a G5RV, or ZS6BKW, or a sotabeams 4 band antenna,
Looking for best suggestion,,,I'm sure my loft is about 40m, 50m wide, but the flats are a triangle shape, so if I was fitting a feed in middle of loft I'd need 20m of Coax or twin feed and the legs wouldn't be straight
I've done a small illustration of flats shape from the air, but don't know how to add it to post,,,,maybe I can pm it
