Is there an up to date website detailing frequencies and different coastguards plus TX sites? Most of the info out there seems to be contradictory or out of date. For example does Dover now run Thames as well so all transmissions from Kent,London and Sussex are Dover coastguard controlled? Also who controls Solent around to Cornwall now. It seems big changes have happened there as well.

So Dover and Thames are now one as far as operations and radio transmissions go? Solent and Portland is now Fareham and Falmouth is the South West ? I think I've answered my own original question. The problem is that a lot of sites on the internet are out of date. One site shows Yarmouth and Trimingham repeaters as belonging to Dover.

That's weird - as right down as fare as Felixstowe and Harwich, Humber radio seem to look after - perhaps we should all make a note of which stations handle the maritime safety broadcasts, because that would give us the clue as to the breaks in the coastline and the swap to the next centre - and perhaps see if the stations on the borders appear to have two controls feeding into them.

Yes, that's a really good idea. I'll try and listen out for Dover but that may take a lift here in Norwich.

I wonder if Dover controlled East Anglia before Humber took over and the site I stumbled across was out of date.

Strange then. I think the site was "Frank's Weather " with the incorrect information . Coastal radio has what I assume to be the correct coastguards, sites and times.

Harwich lifeboat is definately controlled by Dover whereas Aldburgh just up the coast is Humber so the split would appear to be the entrance to Felixstowe & Harwich harbours.Walton on Naze,Clacton,West Mersea,Burnham on Crouch,Southend and Sheerness are all covered by Dover as I monitor all these.

Full signal on CH 86 right now from Humber coastguard. CH 23 is much weaker but audible.
