Misleading advert on eBay

As we all know on here, the above scanner is just that,a scanner and not a transceiver! It certainly isn't digital and of course won't pick up the emergency services..unless you're lucky enough to be very close to a fire brigade handheld when it's transmitting!
I've reported the listing to Ebay, but I'm not holding my breath..

I agree that is very misleading. Not only will it not pick up the police (no scanner can as we all know) but it is an analogue scanner to boot.

I've got one and although it's good,it's a fairly basic scanner.
It picks up broadcast FM as well.I hope eBay removes the item.

Typical of people who copy and paste US copy into UK adverts with no technical knowledge. Digital in this case means display I suspect.

I've queried the description with the seller, and complained to eBay.
I've done so because I don't want people(buyers)to get ripped off by buying what appears to be something that it's quite clearly not..ie"digital"transceiver"etc.

I tried to report it, but can't. I have tried to say it has an inappropriate item description, but then it will not allow me to say anything but... "Profanity, obscenity, and vulgar language" or "Publish contact information."
Typical ebay, avoid complaints, by making the electronic system have issues.

That's what I got,but I've mailed the seller via eBay asking why the item description is so misleading.
