I'm in Norwich, but use to live in Cromer about 20 years ago..
Cromer has a large inland ridge behind it, but there is still plenty to listen to in the area.
The airfield is a few miles out of the town close to Northrepps on the road to North Walsham & the ground radio is a handheld.
Both Cromer & Sheringham have offshore Lifeboats.

There is a 70cm repeater in Sheringham which is quiet & you will get the Norwich repeater GB3NB on 145.625 (I think it is.) CTCSS in this area is 94.8.
A lot of the Cromer Sheringham hams are simplex, due to the ridge & the Bitten DX Group members are normally around & a nice bunch.
Have a listen for Lincolnshire repeaters from the NN Coast as they are often easily available. Also Mainland Europe is often easily reachable.

ATC freqs possibly transmitted from the Trimingham site just 2.5 miles east of Cromer (I haven't been there recently to check):

There is a second ATC site at Antingham, but I suspect that is just a receiver.
Though bear in mind that Cromer may also be line of sight to the Rothwell (Lincs) and Chedburgh (Suffolk) sites, and some freqs may come from more than one site.
Those prefixed with a ^ I'm sure about, those suffixed with a ? are possible.
128.125 London, and 135.275 for Swanik Mil, are your best bet I think.
135.275 appears to transmit +5k high

135.925 AM EGVV Swanik Mil (ICF Scotland South, Pennines) GreatDunFell? ^Trimingham?
I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

There is VERY little marine chat out at Cromer, even in the summer. My flat overlooked the beach & other than lifeboat traffic & the normal Coastguard news etc there was little to hear.
