I hope so.

Some SAY it will be back....

"The WTR is visible from inside Ofcom's network but not from outside the network. I've passed it as a fault so it should be working again shortly. If anything changes I'll advise the group."

"I have just had an update from the IT department. The WTR had a fault on the public facing side of the system which caused some issues with the data. They are actively trying to resolve this and will then put the WTR back up for public access.
In short....it will be back."

Others SAY not....

It seems ofcom has pulled the WTR in its current form.

It was noticeably sluggish outside of office hours and often unavailable at weekends
suggesting that its days were numbered in these austere times.

So it is hard to know exactly what the situation is.

Thanks, pity if it has gone due to cost or "other reasons".
Was a useful tool.

Its still down.

that link works, but produces an error rather than licences.

This is getting on my nerves now - we've got a temp repeater install going into a racecourse in a few weeks, and I need to know how congested the air is up there, before I decide to go short term hire, or licenced freqs.

I'd phone them up - by far the simplest to find out the real situation. On their intranet it's working, as my licence is still current and they can see the details, but my number brings back nothing, nor does a map or nor search. How very strange?

Now gone too, or at least temporarily. I had used it up to yesterday.
200 miles in 2 days for my 3 children.
