Google suggests that is the Motorola Mt-777.
It looks like Motorola is rebadging Puxing 777's.

Motorola Mt-777 = Puxing PX-777

Postby Alfie » Fri Oct 30, 2015 12:10 am

Motorola Mt-777 is the fake name they have give it but it is a Puxing PX-777.

motorola themselves have mentioned nothing about this product i can find. basically either puxing have stuck motorolas name on it to sell more or someone is buying lots of Puxing PX-777 and sticking motorolas name on to sell at a higher price.

I agree they are certainly the PX777. I believe they chose this one to pass off as Motorola because to the untrained it looks like the Motorola GP338 Plus. The Motorola GP338 Plus is most likely the radio that the Puxing PX777 was modeled on in the first place.

I've got some VHF Kenwoods, and ordered this week a few UHF ones from this very dealer for a client - I'll report back when they come if they are genuine/appear to be genuine/fake. It's usually the batteries, aerials and accessories that give the game away.

People shouldn't be able to get away with giving fake locations on Ebay!

On the Feedback page it says they are based in Malaysia and the contact details are:

Business seller information
buyitnow
114-1, jalan mahogani 1, bandar botanic
41200 klang, selangor
Malaysia

I do not know if I will get a reply or not, but I have sent Motorola an email, saying I am a radio amateur & that we use PMR radios & that I do not want to buy fake radios..I sent them a link & will wait & see.

Maybe these radios are legit.Motorola might have put there own badge on under licence.
Several years ago,I bought a Wouxon KG-UVD1P which had been rebadged as a Midland CT790.

No Motorola radio in its right mind would be seen out and about without its trademark batwings.

I doubt these are legit but who knows as Motorola themselves are saying nowt about them. I wouldnt expect them to put their respected name to an inferior cheap brand.

As someone who was a keen listener in the 70's & 80's, I would have said the same thing about Sony. Now look at what is insside their boxes..
Motorola it's self, is not now single company now, but two separate (bat) wings. As in 2011 after massive financial losses it became Motorola Mobility & Motorola Solutions. Both use the Motorola logo, but in different colours, with Motorola Mobility now being owned by Google.
A fair amount of Motorola's products are now produced under licence, so it is more than possible that Motorola has licensed some very poorly made technology.
