Bandpass UHF notch.

Postby m0lsx » Sun Feb 18, 2018 11:54 am

I have been looking around for a source of reasonably priced UHF bandpass (notch) filters.
This is not for an amateur radio band & it must be sharp (narrow) as it needs to both reject & prevent interference to others on frequencies very close by. So self building is out, as it's needs to be better quality than anything that I can put together with the test kit I have available.
Any ideas?

That is the sort of thing yes. Especially if it can be narrowed to under 1MHz, like that.
The filter it's self is only about £63 so not too bad, but £42 for postage :shocker: :shocker:
I am not sure if I am missing it or not, but there do not appear to be any supplying company details there. So yes something like that but from a safer source.

They're micro businesses - I buy loads of stuff from them and in about 8 years, I've spent thousands - microphones, moving lights, and radio stuff mainly. They use an escrow system, so as soon as it arrives, you click on the box and they get paid. I thought you mentioned a while back you've bought from AE before, but I may have dreamt that?

If time isn't an issue - ask them about cheaper ways of sending it. This seller has a decent feedback record and has been around 3 yrs+.
