Sorry if it's been asked before but I can't find anything.
I used to listen to Longton (stoke on Trent) Shopwatch on 456.600 analogue. It seems to have gone digital.
Does anyone know CC and TG

Thanks

Clayhead

I have searched Google and came up with nothing. That is why I asked on here.
Yes you could hand it to me on a plate at my house if you want to, but all I asked was a simple question and get this sort of answer.
If this is the way this forum treats people then it's not for me.
Thanks UK Radio Scanning Forum for having me.
I will now leave this forum and let you give silly answers to someone else.

I've have said it before, it's not details killing the hobby, it's people running or advanced members on this site doing it...

If anyone is likely to cause havoc on the air they won't let sites not giving colour codes or talkgroups stop them, they will just get a £5 dongle off ebay and find out for themselves. Until there is rules in writing posted on this site regarding talk groups and colour codes etc, there are no rules. You can't refer to something that doesn't exist, I've sent private messages read regarding this, yet no one has replied, but I know they have been read.

I have been asking for months for rules to be put online, thus far nobody in charge has bothered.

Andrew - when I first joined, I got told off (nicely) for posting things that the membership - as in the people who use the forum - didn't like, I was also told privately by the moderators, and had it explained to me why some things are not welcome, even though to many people, it's a trivial thing. It's not my forum. I have no special pips on my shoulder, but I'm a guest here until they chuck me off. Since then, I try to post in a style that cause no friction, breaks no rules (unwritten or not), and try to be nice. As a friend of mine many years ago said - if you have to have the rules published so people know when they crossed the line, then they're not the people you invite around for tea on Sunday.

Maybe there is a good reason the management do not wish to make these rules something to beat over the head with? Maybe they just want the forum to be friendly and moderate itself, maybe they simply do not wish to invent a set of rules they are then forced to police - and maybe they just cannot face having a battle. It's their choice, so why not just stop trying to make a point? Is it really worth causing trouble? I can only speak for myself, but it just makes me smile when you jump in and act like you're in charge, and complain about other people doing the same?

I've had an email from the boss, quite a while ago, asking me not to publish TGs, and I haven't. Not my forum, and it didn't hurt me to toe the line, rather than insisting a set of rules is pinned up, or it doesn't count!
