Something is not right in the settings as I can't get any audio, what model of Motorola radio do you have ? You can set up the various settings on the radio ?

Do you need the group code ?. as far as I'm aware, apart from the hacked radios, all 'proper' radios should need a group code to decode voice and text.

They are on group code 1

Brighton shop watch / pub watch will be moving over to digital from Tuesday 2nd may.

The changeover day is Tuesday. All users are being asked to change over to the night safe (pubwatch channel) on Tuesday until the new handset is delivered.

They are using hytera handsets, I'm unsure at this moment how it will work - if they are keeping the original 4 channels, or if it's going to use 2 repeaters with 4 slots used. Also unsure if it will be hytera version of trunking.

Does anyone have the details of how to listen in? I will miss my daily dose of shoplifters and miscreants. Also, the street cleaners' and Network Rail frequencies have gone digital. Man, I am bereft.....

Well, for the first time, I have seen a dealer actually do it properly.

The system uses Hyteras encryption, all radios log on to be authenticated against the system, and all voice is also encrypted.

No way to monitor unless you are authorised on the system.
