As i am new to scanning could you explain how their radios differ from usual MotoTRBO radios and why i wouldn't hear them.

When I was last in Morecambe I hear them on 457.0375, CC1. No hopping about, just the same frequency as they were on Fm.

LFB still 457.0375 main channel some analogue and dmr but no channel hopping going on. would not expect fire service to ever use channel hopping in any case due to safety they were even reluctant to go digital but the sound quality and noise cancelling won them over

All it took was one Fire Authority to go to DMR with their handhelds and this sort of forced surrounding authorities to go to DMR handhelds, even if they are only used on analogue, so as to retain the mutual aid combatibility..
