I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

Can you receive digital signals as well, or just analogue.

A lot of the town has gone over to digital:

shopwatch / pubwatch is dmr, county mall is dmr, boots internal channel is dmr, Debenhams no longer use radios and rely on the townlink for comms, tk maxx is dmr, decathlon is dmr.

Good news is that apart from Boots & tk maxx internal channels being encrypted, you can decode everything else.

Forgive the long response, id be grateful if anyone else can also help, currently on 453.08750 Digital im picking up what appears to be debenhams but a lot of other activity happening on the repeater, now im thinking that it maybe CAP MAX in place for the mall / town etc..

Debenhams use the town link repeater like its their own sometimes. That freq is the shopwatch channel.
Listen some more and you will hear other units.

All the activity you see on the repeater is the trbo.net computer polling the radios to see if they are on, and in range. There isn't much voice this time of year on the network, all the shoplifters seem to give it a rest in Jan, after a long hard Christmas spell !!!!!

Its not cap plus, its a standard dr3000 repeater.

The mall also has a dr3000, but with a downfire antenna, so you have to be generally close to listen.
