Nice find then.

462.475 used for years. Interestingly when the WTR became available freq was listed as 456.975 single which is the duplex pair of the one used. Since then various others have cropped up in the WTR.

Never found the bus station over the road. May not even use radios.

I had my Uniden 3500 on search with the virtual log attached, I had my Pro2042 searching out DMR. I heard very little. I was expecting to hear stuff from the Tower but it might have been one of the encrypted DMR ones. The hotel I was in was close to North Pier. There was no shopwatch heard. The only other things I got were Wetherspoons staff on 446 channel 3 (67.0) and door staff of a pub on 463.125 DCS 125, which is Retevis 777 and Baofeng 888s channel 11. Even McDonald's had security staff in.

Andrew

SW is 453.100 encrypted DMR. Moved from analgue last year. Not sure anout the second SW freq on 453.500.

Only get to Blackpool a couple of times per year and have only made it once so far this year, out of season. Piers were Nth 169.225 + UKG, Cent 168.1625 & Sth 169.2625 + UKG. At turn of year WTR showed changes Nth 453.350, Cent 453.875 and Sth 461.2875. Havnt checked out but assume have gone digi and that locals will have knowlege of usage.

Bpool BC parking, wardens, beach patrols etc on 453.1625 and 453.4375 encrypted digi. Moved recently from a trunked analgue system.

Think I have previously advised Twr on 459.500 and 446.225.

I was only a few hundred yards from the tower, Banks Street, I had my Pro 2042 with it's discriminator tap searching from 440-470 and still didn't find it.

The Blackpool Tower. I forgot to check back on the WTR. It was down virtually the whole time I was in Blackpool.
