There is a repeater in Aylesbury which I have used running backwards & forwards between Norfolk & Cheltenham.
GB3VA. Input: 145.1MHz. Output: 145.7MHz. CTCSS: 118.8Hz.
That seems to have good coverage.
And one in Cheltenham. GB3CG. Input 145.125MHz. Output 145.725MHz CTCSS 118.8 Hz or 1750Hz Tone burst.
As for the Buses in Oxford, I would imagine on a lot of different frequencies, if they still use radio. As there are now numerous companies operating in most cities.
But a few years ago, 177.7625 MHz was busy with PSV traffic.
