2/70 Map

Postby m3bsf » Sun Mar 26, 2017 2:55 pm

Looking for a 2m/70 Map of UK with Repeater locations, some years ago I think PW did one, tried Google but nothing other than the RSGB one that prints out very badly, any help much appreciated.

I have a couple of old PW maps here, but things have changed a lot over the past few years.
A map of even just 2 meter repeaters now, would probably include a lot more repeaters than existed even 15 years ago across both 2 & 70. Partly due to the number of digital repeaters.
Buy a database from Kimmy JS19 via http://ukscanningdirectory.co.uk/
Or do Google search of this forum via https://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=partner-pub-6291336405621919:2662881632

The ukreapeater website is one of the worst designed sites I've ever seen...however, if you check the regions section you'll find linked google maps of the repeaters.

Probably of more use to you are the downloadable location lists in several formats suitable for a gps, or software such as memory map. See the 'guidance' -> 'resources' section

You can use these to create maps of specific repeater types or a map that excludes the ones hogged by taxi drivers talking sh1t
