Scottish Control frequecies

Postby TheTravelGuy » Wed Sep 12, 2018 10:08 pm

Hi there. I live in West Yorkshire(Wakefield) and I am on flight paths for aircraft flying from the states to Europe and also flights from the south heading north. Does anyone have any frequencys for Scottish control as I can't their for online and I have found that a lot of the websites have inaccurate/out of date information. Many thanks

I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

I’ve only just recently joined the forum. My location is almost the very centre of Scotland. I’ve set my scanner to 132.490mhz and I am picking up air traffic from as far away as Aberdeen, Stornaway and the Scottish/English border region.
It also helps me greatly that I have the ‘Planefinder’ app on my iPad and iPhone (works on any tablet) so that I can also see what I’m listening to.

It' still listed in ENR 2.1, but noted as "North of a line 573000N 0100000W - TIR - 561700N 0033700W."
That's roughly 30 miles East of Buchan - Tiree VOR - Gleneagles. (and no the description, being a zig-zag line doesn't make much sense to me either!)
