Hi Guys, further to my last post about chinooks flying over the weymouth area, I have found out that the old Portland r n a s station is now being used as a project called heli opps, I am still searching frantically for some frequencies , ive been on loads of sites on the web , including , fighter control , who have a lot of stuff about heli opps, but alas no frequencies, anybody shine any light on this for me ? .

RNAS Portland was also called HMS Osprey

They may have a ops freq, and it may be an 8.33 channel.
I reserve the right to ignore people who have made no attempt to the read the manual, and expect others to do it for them.

Hi Nigel,

The Heli ops on Portland only use Plymouth mil or London info when they are shut I think they were on 124.750 from memory to state they have started / finished training don't belive they use anything else, I used to live on Portland and have recently moved to north Devon. There is no polycon or base comms that I have managed to find.

Hope that helps a bit
