Air band is all AM.
Or do you mean PMR & amateur radio frequencies from the Gatwick areas?
Buy a database from Kimmy JS19 via http://ukscanningdirectory.co.uk/
Or do Google search of this forum via http://www.google.com/cse/home?cx=partner-pub-6291336405621919:2662881632

The ground and ramp relays are on FM in the 450-466Mhz bands but you would need to be very close to the airports to monitor them and using close call ( if your scanner has it ) would be the simplest way to see which frequencies are still in use . I suggest you search around 455-457 Mhz in 12.5 Khz steps Here are a few that were listed in earlier posts on this forum in 2013 by M3TSY

London Heathrow Airport - 455.650
British Airways, Heathrow Airport - 456.875
Air China, Heathrow Airport - 453.075
Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow Airport - 456.525
Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow Airport - 453.025
Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow Airport - 456.950
Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow Airport - 453.800
Virgin Atlantic, Heathrow Airport - 456.700

Silver shadow has also posted these for Gatwick

London Gatwick Airport UHF - 453.9250 MHz (FM)

London Gatwick Airport UHF - 453.4375 MHz (FM)

First of all ... thank you guys!
Yea I was told that you could hear the tower etc via FM higher up.
I’m not really sure but I do have a BaoFeng UV-5R radio for listening.
Thanks for any further advice

You might find this useful too, though it does not give all frequencies is use across the airfields
