Neil57uk the channel numbers i have them saved as were given to me by a radio engineer who works at NIR. He also confirmed there are only 4 channels programmed into the kenwood radios in the train drivers cabs . I can double check if i see him again and get back to you just to make sure we all have them in correctly. Would like to know also what the new 5th frequency mentioned is being used for. Has anybody had any activity on it recently? I know channel 4 was getting lots of problems around Antrim, Ballymena and Coleraine last year so maybe it was a back up channel they have added.

I mainly get hits on 166.1750 but it’s usually just test calls and the occasional report of a trespasser and that’s about it!

Are the trains still on analogue? I live too far away to hear it now if they were
