UBC125XLT Help needed.

Postby Rob1 » Fri May 11, 2018 9:10 pm

Hi everyone, I am new to the forum but not to scanning. I had a Yupiteru MVT7000 a few years back and enjoyed using it but other things got in the way (work, women..etc, etc) I have now returned and purchased a UBC125XLT and I am enjoying it all again.

I have mastered most of the 125 and have entered my desired frequencies using the banks so that when in a particular area of interest I just use that bank.Trouble is (and I may be a little thick here) I cannot work out how to lock out a bank when it is not needed. I can do it on the PC by locking out all the frequencies I don't need but this is tedious and not easy when you have not got the PC at hand.

I am sure there is a way to lock out a whole bank at once - can any one advise me please.

Any and all help greatly appreciated.....

The manual for the 125 has this text on page 16
hope this helps

Channel Storage Banks
To make it easier to identify and select the channels you want to
listen to, the 500 channels are divided into 10 channel storage
banks containing 50 channels each. You could use each channel
storage bank to group frequencies by department, location, area
of interest, or any other way you prefer. You can listen to any or
all of the banks by using the number keys to turn them on or off .
